| Sleeps 12 in five cabins (three staterooms). Interior largely replaced/upgraded in 2000, with new cabin sole of teak/holly, new upholstery throughout (all cushions in fire-retardant foam), tailor-made bed linen, etc. Forecabin (with access to fo'c'sle) with four berths, four berths in the midships cabin, a double berth in the Captain's cabin, two pilot berths in the chartroom, and two more berths in the First Mate/Bosuns area aft of the chartroom. There is a large mahogany table in the saloon, which can seat 12 people and includes a 'C' shaped settee to starboard, and a straight settee to port. There are two roomy heads compartments, each with a toilet (electric, 2000), sink, counter, vanity and shower. |

| The Galley is located on the portside just aft of the main companionway, and includes a four-burner propane stove with oven (new 2000), microwave, a separate freezer (new 2000) and fridge, hot/cold pressure water system with large single sink, plus cooking utensils, cutlery, and crockery for 18 people. Plenty of storage above and behind the stove and cooking counter for dry goods, etc. |

| In 2000, 'Whitbread' was extensively upgraded, with the bottom stripped and barrier coated against osmosi (still under warranty). In 2006, the boat was repainted (Awlgrip) light blue, along with a significantl refit. All through-hull fittings were replaced in 2000, and the steering was also overhauled by the manufacturer at that time.
MOORING: 2 x 75 Lbs CQR anchors, 200 Meters 12 mm chain rode (new in 2000), 60 Meters 3/8" chain rode, electric anchor windlass (2000), 2 x heavy towing lines, fenders, and assorted mooring warps.
RIG/SPARS: Ketch rig, Main mast Seldon aluminium 90', Mizzen mast replaced in 1995, 45'. All standing and running rigging replaced in 2000, in-mast wiring also replaced in 2000, along with navigation lights. Lazy Jack system for main and mizzen installed 2000.
SAILS/CANVAS: Number 1 Yankee, 2 Yankee (2000), Storm jib, Trysail, Staysail, Mainsail, Mizzen Staysail (2005), fully battened Mizzen (2000), Kevlar asymetric Spinnaker (2007), spare 3/4 Oz Kite, 1 Oz Glider, sail covers and dodger (2000). All older sails completely overhauled in 2000.
WINCHES: 2 x Lewmar 55 ST 3-speed (new 2000), 1 x Lewmar 65 3-speed (bronze), 2 x Lewmar 44 3-speed (for running backstays), 2 x Lewmar 16 ST 3-speed winches. |
