An outstanding example of this deep-V hulled Sportfishermen, 'Island Girl' is just completing an extensive restoration and overall upgrade, with refinished decks inside and out, new enclosure, repainted engines (Awlgrip), sandblasted and barrier-coated bottom (2009), and many more items either renewed, replaced, or upgraded! Those familiar with the Delta SFX will know that that deep-V hull means a smooth ride in rough seas, and the 'command-bridge' layout allows for close communications with the cockpit and easy access from the helm to the rest of the boat in an emergency, when a big fish is on, or just to grab a sandwich without having to play Tarzan clambering up and down precarious ladders at sea.
Now out of the water and almost complete, just a few cosmetic issues remain, mostly involving new additions (such as a new tuna door in the transom!), but these should all be finished within a couple weeks (as of 07/15/09). Please have a look at the full specifications and photos (all taken 07/13/09) for more infomation.
